My BIG Trips
Bike Camel Bike Tour
The bike camel bike tour has been a somewhat strange mountainbike tour in Australia.
Starting point for this tour was Perth, capital City of Westaustralia.
Together with my friend and travelcompagnion Tobias Fischnaller we cycled along the
lonesome and dusty roads in Westaustralia all the way up to Halls Creek. There we
decided to travel along the Tanami Track down to Alice Springs.
On our arrival in Alice Springs, Tobias took a plane all the way down to Brisbane
to visit Queensland. For myself, the second
part of the trip with the camels started down at Noel Fullertons farm in Stuart Well.
I spend 2 months at the farm and travelling the outback of Australias red center.
The last and third part of the journey started
in the Alice and took me all the way north, along the Sandover, and the Stuart Highway.
Getting stuck in the worst floods and
experiencing the wonderful Kakadu Park, I arrived after 7400 km of an awsome cycletrip in Darwin.
No matter how often I have travelled in Australia, it is always a new Challenge.
